Hello Fellow Youth Members,
  
This message is to alert the youth of future events and opportunities within the church. Please bear with this message as it is extremely large both in content and amount of attachements.

First, we would like to again thank the work of all the members of the Seraphim Board and all the other individuals that assisted in the creation of the 10th edition of the Seraphim. I have attached a copy of this Seraphim volume within the email. For access to this and previous volumes of Seraphim, here is the link: http://seraphimnewsletter.wordpress.com/. In addition, the deadline for creative works for the Seraphim: Summer Edition 2010 is August 8, 2010 and like always any pieces of composition can be sent to spycpublication@gmail.com.

Second, we like to thank all the people who came out to the Archangels event on Saturday April 10th, 2010. There were 11 people who participated within this event, and while satisfactory, we request that more people come out in future events. Moreover, we are holding another Archangels event which will again focus on Basketball. Everyone is invited to come out, with proper gear to play basketball. Please bring water and please be mindful to weather for apparel. If transportation is needed please contact Jenson George at his email jenson.george24@gmail.com or by cell which is in the attached flyer. The location is the same place as last week.

The third notice is related toward Social Day which will he held on Saturday April 24, 2010, starting at 9:00am and end 4:00pm at the Church. Please make time to attend this event. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided. (Free Food!!)

The fourth notice is to remind everyone that we request that everyone pay their youth dues ($10) as quickly as possible to the Youth Treasurer Boby Abraham.

The fifth notice is to talk of the upcoming event on Saturday May 8, 2010 where the Church will hold the Landscaping Event. Food will be provided. More information will be provided as the event draws closer.

The sixth notice relates to this year annual Family Conference which is being held at Garden State Convention Center, Somerset, NJ. This year ,the Sport Program will be properly organized and there will be many events to be held. Unfortunately, the information will be properly published this week so we are still lacking in information but we will mention the programs with a high probability of being present. As information becomes available, we will supply an update.
  
Sport Events: Basketball, Shuttle Badminton, & Volleyball
Track & Field: Track, & Shock-Put
Group Events: Tug of War & Relay Race
Indoor Games: Table Tennis(Single), Chess, & Bible Trivia
Family Fun: Random Set of Fun Activities
  
In addition, like every year there is also a Cultural Program to participate in. The cultural program will be conducted in the form of a competition between the participating churches in which the only programs that are allowed are: skit or group dance with a background in Christianity with allotted time limit of 10 minutes. As this program is still under development we will update as information is supplied.

In other news, this Sunday, April 18th, 2010 is when St Peter Syrian Orthodox Jacobite Church will hosting it annual Bake Sale.
